The exhibition Persons from the Wedding in front of the Kordegarda gallery presents the profiles of eighteen selected people who became prototypes of characters in Stanisław Wyspiański's Wedding. This most outstanding drama in the artist's oeuvre and at the same time in Polish culture of the twentieth century was based around a real event: the second day of the wedding party, the so-called czepin, organized on November 21, 1900 in the village of Bronowice Małe, after the wedding of the writer Lucjan Rydel with the peasant Jadwiga Mikołajczykówna.
